Francis Herkert

Francis A. Herkert, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Donna M. Herkert; cherished son of the late Franz B. and Anna Herkert. Devoted father of Gregory Herkert, Kenneth (Virginia) Herkert, and Michael Herkert; loving grandfather of Mitchell Herkert, Benjamin Herkert, Blake Herkert, Nicholas Herkert, and Brady Herkert. Preceded in death by sister, Marcella Baumler.

Frank proudly served in the United States Army. He was past Commander of Lake St. Louis American Legion Post 632. Frank attended St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute class of 1953 and went on to Canisius College class of 1957. Frank enjoyed reading and playing chess. Frank was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
