Francis E. Waters
February 8, 1933 — October 22, 2017
Francis E. Waters of Chesterfield, MO, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Rua D. Waters; cherished son of the late Darrell Ted and Opal Waters; devoted father of Doug (Donna) Waters and Rodney D. Waters; loving grandfather of Matthew, Katelyn, and Jenna Waters; and brother of Darrell Waters, Donald Waters, Neva DeCant, Wilma Haake, and Doris Holland.
Francis proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before returning home. He graduated from St. Louis University with a Master’s in Education then devoted his career to secondary education as a Math Teacher for the Rockwood School District for more than 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion, an avid golfer and hunter, and enjoyed competing at Shuffle Board. Francis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
