Frances C. Anselmo

Anselmo, Frances C., (née: Schmidt) of Saint Charles, MO, died on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the age of 83. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Edna Schmidt; devoted mother of Donald (Darlene) Newman, Dino Anselmo, Mario Anselmo, and Trina Anselmo; cherished grandmother of April Newman, Donald Newman III, Heather Newman, Mical Anselmo, Alex Anselmo, Kelsey (Joe) Russo, and Nicholas Anselmo; treasured great-grandmother of Olive Russo; dear sister of Gwendolyn (Rick) Smith; and loving step-daughter of Mary Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Frances is preceded in death by her brother, Karl Schmidt and daughter-in-law, Peggy Anselmo.




Frances wore many hats throughout her lifetime. One of her favorite “hats” was her time spent working as one of the first stewardesses for Ozark Airline. She lived her life to the fullest. In her younger years, she enjoyed painting and bowling. As of late, she enjoyed collecting antiques, spending time outdoors, and adored her plants and flowers. Frances was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
