Frances Byrne

Byrne, Frances, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Richard Emory Byrne; beloved daughter of the late Howard Dutcher Berkley, Sr. and Julia Harris Berkley; devoted mother of Julia Ann (Stephen Fisher) Olin, Richard Dale (Penny) Byrne, and Robert Charles (Janice) Byrne; cherished grandmother of Simon D. Byrne, Sarah J. (Timothy) Thornton, Julianna E. Byrne, Alexandra Hager, Kate L. (Mark) Hermanson, and Scott E. Byrne; treasured great-grandmother of Sydney K. and Maya F. Thornton, Hakon J., Kai J. and Isaiah T. Hermanson, Evan R. and Adrian L. Byrne; dear sister of Marjorie Constantine and Dale Wayne Berkley. She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Harris Berkley, Raymond "Rink" Berkley, James Earl Berkley, and Howard Dutcher Berkley, Jr. She was first grade teacher in the Ft. Zumwalt School District for 30 years, and educated three generations of children. She was a past president of the Teachers Union.
