Floyd H. Yates

Floyd H. Yates of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Loving husband of Margaret N. Yates; son of the late Ray Yates and Willa Kester; devoted father of Karen (Ernie) Niblett and Susan (the late Larry) Repovich; loving grandfather of Matthew and Alyssa; dear brother of Wilma Gaines, Jim Yates, Dolores Price, and Ida (Ken) Kellogg; brother-in-law of Alta Albicht and Norma O’Donnell; and loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Floyd had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed quail hunting, fishing, and working in his yard and garden. When watching his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals (but only when they were winning), he always had a cat on his lap.
