Evelyn Maureen Rollins (nee Howze), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Lionel Rollins; beloved daughter of the late Willard Franklin and Eva Bell Howze; devoted mother of Robin Richee and David (Barbara) Estes; cherished grandmother of Christina Richee, Clarissa Richee, Colleen Richee, Cara (Jeremy) Dodd, Isabella (Ryan) Nunn, Anabelle Estes, and Lillian Estes; treasured great-grandmother of Judah, Spirit, and Jedidiah; dear sister of Patricia Ivy; and is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and cousins. Evelyn is also preceded in death by her sister, Rose Goodrum.
Evelyn shared 20 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Mr. Rollins. A devoted Christian and faithful prayer warrior, she found great joy in serving others through Bible study, church activities, and music. She sang in the choir for many years and was often a soloist, rarely going a day without a song in her heart.
Evelyn dedicated more than 35 years to the field of education, beginning her career as a teacher and retiring as a school counselor. She loved traveling and explored destinations throughout South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and across the United States. An avid reader, she also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and spending time with friends through her many social groups. Known for her kindness, elegance, honesty, and warm spirit, Evelyn touched the lives of many. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
