Eula L. Sims “Pat” (nee Triplett), of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at the age of 104. Beloved wife of the late John R. Sims; cherished daughter of the late Victor Clark and Mary Elizabeth Triplett of Dent County, MO. Eula was one of 13 children. Loving grandmother of Scott (Laura) McBride, Stacy (Michael) Knibb, Eric McBride, Steven (Amber Sinclair) McBride, Summer Bingaman, Stephanie (Rob) Puhse, Amy (Scott) Orf, Brian (Amy) Shader, and Chris (Jessica Spaid) Shader; treasured great-grandmother of Kierstan McBride, Amanda Puhse, Brendan McBride, Tyler (Shelby) Enright, Adam Orf, Megan (Carson Patton) Puhse, Brody Orf and Huston McBride; Mother-in-law to Sue and Don (Shader) Timmerman; aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by two sons, Rich Shader, and Paul Shader; and daughter, Carol Bingaman.
Employed for more than four decades, she contributed her time and effort to Knapp Monarch and was also a long-time employee at Flaming Pit. She was an active member of both The Red Hat Society and Harvester Baptist Church. She found joy in sewing, cherished moments with family, and took pleasure in caring for others and was known for her kind demeanor. She also dedicated her time to working at Bingo events at the Elks Club in Florissant. Eula had a passion for gardening and the pride she took in her garden and flowers were evident. Those who had the privilege of knowing Eula deeply loved her, and her absence will be profoundly felt.
Memorials may be made in Eula's name to St. Jude Children’s hospital.
