Ernest Franklin Aldridge
June 28, 1930 — March 6, 2022
Ernest Franklin Aldridge, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the age of 91. Devoted father of Creston (Tina) Aldridge, Barry Aldridge and Lorri (David) Quest; loving grandfather of Amanda, Lyle, Aaron, Nicholas, Jessica and Amber and great-grandfather of 4. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillian Aldridge, his parents, Spellman and Alice Aldridge, and siblings, Alberta, Carol and Danny.
Ernest was a dedicated U.S. Air Force veteran and an aerospace mechanic for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing for many years. He was very respected in his career. He was also a lifetime member of American Legion Post 388.
Ernest loved to stay busy; he would tinker with anything he could around his home. He was an airplane buff and enjoyed building model planes. When he wanted to relax, he loved to sit on his porch swing. Ernest was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
