Erna Olson

Olson, Erna H., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the age of 91. Erna was born on December 1, 1918 to H.F and Eugenie Suhre in Marthasville, MO. She married Gordon W. Olson, Sr. on January 20, 1946. Erna worked as an assistant manager at A&P Grocery Store in St. Charles and later at Hedges & Hafer and finally at the Tom Boy store on Kingshighway. She retired in 1978 after 38 years in the grocery business. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters Ella Lombardi, Nora Goodin and Edna Musco; her husband Gordon W. Olson, Sr.; her son Gordon W. Olson, Jr. and her daughter-in-law, Jean Olson. She is survived by her three grandchildren, Michael W. (Julie) Olson of Stuart, FL, Karen L. (Ev) Falder of Boaz, KY and Nancy (David) Stewart of Troy, MO and 6 great-grandchildren, Sara and Drew Falder, Katherine and Samantha Olson, and Christy and Ben Stewart.
