Erin Patricia Mossinghoff

Erin Patricia Mossinghoff (nee Hixson) of St. Charles MO died on Tuesday July 2nd at the age of 79. 

Loving wife of late James Mossinghoff for 52 years; Beloved daughter of the late Walter and Erin “Pat” (nee Molloy) Hixson; Sister to the late brother Doug (Donna) Hixson, brother Charlie (Sue) Hixson, the late sister Barb (Gordon) Anzalone, the late brother James Hixson; Devoted mother to Curtis Mossinghoff, Donna Mossinghoff, Thomas (Jill) Mossinghoff; Adored grandmother to Nicholas (Christian) Mossinghoff, Kaitlyn Mossinghoff, the late Lilly Mossinghoff, Molly Mossinghoff, Brendan Wendt, and Owen Garrett; Cherished great-grandma to Landon, Ezekiel, Brice, and Joey-Jean Mossinghoff. 

Erin worked for the United State Postal Service prior to her retirement. She was an avid game and crime tv show watcher and enjoyed playing Hidden Objects Games on the computer. She also enjoyed live theater. Erin always put her family first loving them unconditionally. Erin was a light in everyone’s life that she knew and was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. 

Memorials may be made in Erin's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
