Emily Lauren Oechsner

Emily Lauren Oechsner, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017.

She is the cherished daughter of Matt and Michelle Oechsner and dear sister of Hanna and Brady Oechsner. Emily is survived by her paternal grandparents, Carol (Ted) Smith and Gerard (Jeannie) Oechsner; maternal grandfather, Terry Klein (Cindy Miller); paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Smith; aunt and uncles, Steve (Tracy) Klein, Chad Klein, Sammie (Angelo) Bezzole, Jason Smith, Michael Oechsner, and Adam Oechsner; and cousins Josie, Niko, Kayla, and Tayler. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ruth Klein; paternal great-grandparents, Roy and Eleanor Oechsner, Nana and Papa Smith, and Robert Smith; and maternal great-grandparents, Vernon and Erma Klein, and Edgar and Evelyn Walker.

Emily was a junior at Fort Zumwalt East High School. She was on the varsity cheerleading team and played freshman soccer. Emily’s biggest goal was to make those around her laugh. She loved hot baths, music and Netflix. Most of all, Emily’s life was centered around her many dear friends. Her infectious smile and one-of-a-kind laugh will be deeply missed.
