Emigdia “Emmy” Hixon
August 5, 1938 — February 16, 2022
Emigdia "Emmy" Hixon (nee Sapien), of Ferguson, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Ralph R Hixon; beloved daughter of the late Feliciano Sapien and Soledad Olivas; devoted mother of David (Samantha) Hixon; cherished grandmother of Cole Hixon, and Lucas Hixon; dear brother of three sisters, two brothers. Emmy is also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Hixon, and two of her brothers.
Emmy worked in food service all her life. She was a very hard worker, who loved what she did. She had many, many friends who she loved very much. She was very involved with Blessed Theresa of Calcutta Church. Emigdia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Emigdia's name to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
