Rothermich, Elvera M., of Flint Hill, Missouri, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the age of 86. Dearest wife of the late Frederick "Fritz" Rothermich; dear daughter of the late Clem and Emma Bauer, loving mother of Stanley (Dede) Rothermich, Sandy (Nick) Stroud, Donna (Jim) Hennis, Beverly (Harold) Kersting, Bruce (Susan) Rothermich and Shelly ( Jeff) Fluchel ; beloved grandmother of Erica (Brian), Michael (Shara), Kristyn (Brant), Justin, Andrew, Nicholas, Jennifer, Matt (Stephanie), Bradley, Julie, Rebecca, Amanda & Emily; great-grandmother of Kayleigh, Mandi, Alexis, and Becca; dear sister of Loyola Bauer; Beloved Sister-in-law, Aunt, Great Aunt, Cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by Brothers Alvin and Harold Bauer. She was a member of "The Greatest Generation". She Grew up on a farm. Her many life experiences and talents such as canning, cooking, crafting and quilting, benefited many people as she shared and taught them. During the war, she worked for Curtis Wright building airplanes. On October 04, 1947, she married Fritz, a navy veteran and was blessed with 37 years of marriage until his death. She went to school and became a Beautician. She had several beauty shops during her 40 years, but most would remember her shop in her home in Flint Hill. .
