Elsie Mae (Townsend) Ray of O’Fallon, MO, passed away August 26, 2016 at age 87.
Elsie was born in Leachville, Arkansas on January 2, 1929, daughter of the late David Lee and Olive Louise (Cox) Townsend. She married William H. (Bill) Ray on February 14, 1949 in St. Louis, MO. Bill preceded her in death after 67 years of marriage. She was a member of the First Assembly of God of Rolla in Rolla, MO.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Catherine Townsend Duncan, Helen Townsend Jones Boyes, Norma Jean Townsend Pletscher and William (Billy) Townsend. Elsie was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God of Rolla.
