Elsie I. Gravemann

Elsie Irene Gravemann (nee: Sabourin) age 96, formerly of St Ann, MO, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2018, at Lewis & Clark Gardens, St. Charles, MO. Beloved wife of the late Marvin Gravemann. Dear mother of Richard (Annie), the late Roy, and Dennis (Judy) Gravemann. Step-mother of James, the late Glennon (Della, surviving), and the late Carl (Mae, surviving). Former mother-in-law of Judy Gray and Marva Lee Gravemann.

Loving grandmother of the late Carol Gravemann, also Connie (Anthony) Miller, Thom (Beth) Gravemann, Elaine Stallings, Andrew (Kristie) Gravemann, Scott Gravemann, and Nicholas (Erin) Gravemann. Step-grandmother of Mark Gravemann and Tina (Marc) Houseman. Great-grandmother of 17, great-great-grandmother of 3 (plus one on the way). Our dear aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph, Sr. and Edna Sabourin (nee: Mueller); siblings: Dorothy (Newton) Bray, Marcelline (Ray) Thompson, Joseph, Jr. (Jermaine, surviving), and Walter (Mary, surviving).

Elsie was a cafeteria worker at Pattonville Middle School, in St. Ann, MO for 28 years. Her hobbies were crocheting, quilting, embroidering, gardening, and baking to keep the cookie jar filled for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton, MO.
