Elna Hagen

Elna Elaine Tippit Hagen was born July 14, 1929 to Maggie and Hubert Tippit. Elna was one of eleven children, having  seven sisters and three brothers. She married Robert George Hagen and had four children;  Susan, Jeffrey, Paul and Stephen.

She was loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Elna loved to cook southern style, she was an avid gardener and she was a master seamstress.

In addition during her lifetime she worked full time as a grocery clerk and held positions in civil service at Eglin Air Force base in Florida. She was a hard worker and always gave her all and received recognition for a job well done.

Elna passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  She was ninty-two years old.

Elnas is survived by her children; Susan (Curtis), Jeffrey Hagen, Paul Hagen, and Stephen Hagen and their families, and three sisters, Bettye Lewis, Lela Bangle and Naomi Rogers.

Elna left a legacy of love and will be greatly missed.
