Elizabeth “Betty” Brawley

Elizabeth “Betty” Brawley, age 57, of Marthasville, Missouri, on Monday October 16, 2017. Cherished daughter of the late William and Margaret Brawley; dear sister of the late John Dunlap.

Born in St. Louis Missouri, Betty spent the last 30 years as a resident of Emmaus House, most recently in Marthasville, Missouri. She enjoyed her activities there, especially arts and crafts, drawing, and taking trips with her fellow residents. Betty loved Elvis Presley, and one of her favorite trips was to visit Graceland, though she also enjoyed other trips to Branson, Missouri, Florida, and to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Betty was also an active participant for several years in the Walk for Diabetes. She will be remembered by the staff who cared for her and by her fellow residents, with much love and fondness, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
