It is with heavy hearts that we inform family and friends of Ellie’s journey to Heaven, where she was reunited with Herb Stein, Jr., the love of her life. Ellie of O’Fallon, MO, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the age of 70. Beloved daughter of the late George and Sonia Havelka; devoted mother of Herbert “Chip” (Debby) Stein III and Tom (Tammy) Stein; cherished grandmother of Victoria Stein, Veronica Clarity, Hannah Stein, Gabrielle Stein, and Sarah Stein; and dear sister of George (Dorothy) Havelka.
Ellie was a great woman who touched many hearts throughout her life. She loved to shop and work on crossword puzzles. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stroke Awareness Foundation.
