Elias Lyle Stevens

Elias Lyle Stevens passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on July 4, 2026.

Born on June 28, 2026, at just 23 weeks gestation and weighing just under one pound, Elias spent six days showing incredible strength and determination. Though his time here was far too short, he touched countless lives and forever changed the hearts of those who loved him.

Elias was deeply wanted and loved long before he was born. For six days, he fought with everything he had and was surrounded by the love of his family and the compassionate care of the doctors and nurses who cared for him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Jayce and Erin Stevens; MawMaw and PawPaw, Tabitha and Richard Stevens; Grams, Kathleen Fitzpatrick; Gramps and MiMi, Joe and Stacy Taylor; Gam, Barbara Fitzpatrick; PoPo and GG, Richard and Donna Stevens; Papa and Nana, Steve and Sandy Taylor; Aunt Manda Maddox and Uncle Mikey Maddox; Uncle Brett Stevens; Aunt Stephanie Smith and Uncle Payton Smith; Uncle Justin Taylor; Uncle Ben Taylor; and many extended family members and friends who eagerly awaited his arrival and loved him dearly.

Although he never got the chance to come home, Elias knew only love. His life was brief, but his impact will last forever.

Being Elias's parents will always be one of the greatest blessings and honors of Jayce and Erin's lives, and his memory will be carried with them always.

In accordance with the family's wishes, no visitation or memorial service will be held. Donations to Cardinal Glennon in Elias' honor appreciated.
