Eleanor "Ellie" Mae McFadden

Eleanor “Ellie” Mae McFadden (nee Hughes), of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the age of 84. Cherished daughter of the late Clarence and Francis Hughes. Devoted mother of Connie (Jerry) Beckerle, Christine (Kevin) Jacobs, Carolyn McFadden, and Ronald (Connie) McFadden; loving grandmother of Jerry III and Austin, Gina, Cristina, Amanda, and Tiffany; treasured great-grandmother of 2; dear sister of Donna, Kathleen, Florence, Molly, Fran, and Pat; preceded in death by siblings, Jerry, Jim, Hugh, and Dolly; and by her nieces Susie and Morgan.

Eleanor loved playing games, especially card games and dime poker. She also loved traveling to visit her sisters in Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia, but traveled all over the United States. Eleanor’s favorite job was being a Grandmother and loved her grandchildren more than anything. She was also an avid Cardinals Baseball and Blues Hockey fan. Eleanor was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
