Elaine K. Kofron

Elaine K. Kofron (nee Ell), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, at the age of 74.  Loving wife of 57 years to Edward Kofron; beloved daughter of the late Ferdinand “Ferd” and Agnes Ell; devoted mother of Stephen Kofron and the late Julie Peters, mother-in-law of Paul Peters; cherished grandmother of Elaina Peters, Corbin (Nikki) Peters, Stephanie Kofron, Anthony Kofron, Kyle Kofron, and Nikki Kofron; treasured sister of Joe (Judy) Ell, Jim (the late Ruth) Ell, and Sherrie (Robert) Shelby; and dearest sister-in-law of Charlotte (the late John) Anselmo, Sandra (Greg Cornelius) Fischer, and Gail (Richard) Aschoff; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Elaine retired after more than 30 years with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing.  She loved bowling, and was on a league at Plaza Bowl for many years.  She was a great cook who loved cooking for her family and friends.  In her quiet time, she enjoyed going to the library and checking out her favorite mystery novels.  Elaine loved going on cruises with her husband, and they took their grandchildren on a Disney Cruise as well.  She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elaine’s honor to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
