Edwin “Eddie” Thomas Pomeroy

Edwin “Eddie” Thomas Pomeroy, of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving husband of 67 years to Norma Dee Pomeroy; beloved son of the late Thelma and Edwin Pomeroy; devoted father of Denise Schaefer and Melinda Chavez; cherished grandfather of Thomas (Magali) Cox, Melanie Cox, Jesse Cox, Brian Cox, Aaron (Jobeth) Chavez, and April (Ronald) Koppelmann; treasured great-grandfather of Jonah Duffy, Carmya Chavez, Tristyn Chavez, and Lorelai Chavez; dear brother of Phoebe Pomeroy and Wilford Pomeroy. Eddie is also preceded in death by his siblings, Lee Stewart, David Pomeroy, and Kenneth Pomeroy. 

Eddie was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was a skilled marksman and hunted deer and turkey. Eddie enjoyed being outside and in addition to hunting he also enjoyed fishing.  

Eddie was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working with his hands. He liked working on his car and always kept himself busy. Eddie was very hardworking and often took up odd jobs, most of all, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
