In Loving Memory of Edward "Ed" Miller

Edward "Ed" Miller, born June 20, 1939, passed away on August 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Ed's greatest joy in life was his beloved wife, Carol Miller, whom he always said was the woman of his dreams. They shared 54 wonderful years of marriage before Carol's passing in 2021. Their love inspired everyone around them and was built on laughter, dedication, and an unbreakable partnership.

Together, Ed and Carol raised four sons, who were the pride of his life Joe (Patti) Miller, Greg (Mendi) Miller, Doug (Shelley) Miller, and Jon (Tasha) Miller. They were also blessed with eight grandchildren: Matt (Maureen), Darian, Allison, Belle, Abbie, Emilie, Ian, and Owen, and two great-grandchildren, Mae and Louis. Ed treasured every moment with his family and especially loved coaching his boys' baseball teams, creating memories and teaching lessons that would last a lifetime.

Ed had a lifelong passion for sports, and in his earlier years was an avid bowler who enjoyed both the competition and the friendships the sport brought him. He proudly worked as the number one driver for Wonder Bread for 15 years before he and Carol worked side by side delivering the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, continuing the strong work ethic that defined both of their lives.

Retirement didn't slow them down. Instead, it led them to their greatest adventure together, opening SnoBiz O'Fallon. SnoBiz became much more than a business; it was Ed's passion and pride. He welcomed employees like family, and they affectionately called him "Pops," a nickname that perfectly reflected his caring heart, gentle spirit, and fatherly presence.

To know Ed was to know kindness. He was the sweetest, most selfless, loving, and compassionate man. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, would drop everything to help someone in need. His generosity, warm smile, and genuine concern for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing Ed is reunited with Carol, the love of his life. His legacy of love, hard work, and selfless service will continue to live on through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
