Edward Landreth passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 in St. Charles, Missouri. He was born in Broseley, Missouri on October 8, 1931 to Clyde and Anna Margaret (Maggie) Landreth.
Edward married Barbara Thacker in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on April 28, 1951.
Edward was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic working and flying on the C-46 aircraft. After returning from Korea he received his aircraft mechanics license from Moody Bible Institute in Elgin, Illinois. In 1956, he went to work for T.W.A. as an aircraft mechanic based in St. Louis, Missouri. He spent his 35-year career with T.W.A. in St. Louis retiring in 1991 as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor.
During his career and into retirement he and Barbara enjoyed traveling and seeing the world.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Alan and wife Lynne of Louisville, Kentucky, and Dale of St. Charles, Missouri. Additionally, he has two grandchildren: Edward and Carolyn, and two great-granchildren: Camden and Coy who will mourn his passing.
