Edith Ann Binsbachar (nee: Cosgrove), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved daughter of the late Earl and Meta Cosgrove; devoted mother of Dianne Wren (Ray Riefstahl), Susan Beckham (Dennis McQuade), Sandy (Frank) Koenig, and Paul Binsbachar; cherished grandmother of Bryon (Liz) Wren, Kyle (Kari) Wren, Jill Bottini, Jaime (Brett) Todd, Christy (Jason) Devall, Kate Beckham (Chris Baldwin), Lindsey Godar, Stephen Koenig (Martha Frye Kienzle), Zachary Koenig, and Step-Grandchild, Lindsay Danser; treasured great grandmother of 14, dear sister of Pat (the late Richard) Wuestling and the late Earl C. Cosgrove, Jr. Edith is also preceded in death by the father of her children, Howard Binsbachar.
Edith worked as a librarian and secretary, and retired after more than 27 years with St. Charles School District. She had a caring heart for helping others, and found great joy with volunteering for FISH and Habitat for Humanity. She loved gardening flowers, sewing, and playing bridge. She also enjoyed reading, and was a member of several book clubs. Most of all, she looked forward to spending time with her family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
