Stevens, Ed, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the age of 58. Dearest husband of Sharon Marie Stevens; dear son of the late John F. and Alice R. Stevens; devoted father of John Stevens, James (Sarah) Stevens, Jean (Randall) Farley, Jordan (Kady) Stevens, Michelle Sarnes, Bernard Sarnes, Teresa Sarnes and Krystal Sarnes; beloved grandfather of Mariah Thies, Caleb Stevens, John Hall, Grace Farley, James Stevens II, Tatum Stevens and Emma Farley and great-grandfather of Nikaya Gill; dear brother of John (Diane) Stevens and Susan (Donald) Welsh; also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Stevens and infant great-granddaughter, Aniya Hines. Ed was an Automotive Parts Salesman before his retirement. His passions were being with his family, woodworking, carpentry, fixing things around the house, yardwork, country music, and cooking. He was a "Jack of all trades and master of none". He loved his family and had many friends. He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Fulton. Memorials may be made to Mother Angelica’s Eternal Word Television Network, the St. Charles Humane Society, or St. Vincent de Paul.
