Earla Alaire Loveless, (nee: Henton) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late John F. (Husband) Loveless, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Elsie M. Henton; devoted mother of James "Jimmy" (Stephanie) Loveless, John F. (Christine) Loveless, III, and Joseph M. (Beth Ann) Loveless; dear step-mother of Marjorie Loveless; loving grandmother of Thomas (Nicole) Loveless, Jeffrey Loveless, Kylie Loveless, Kaylin Gernon, James D. Loveless, Abbigayle Loveless, Jenna Loveless, Gavin Loveless, Ashley Stroyan, and Christiana Catchpole-Loveless; dear great-grandmother of Sophia, Leah, Grace, Elliot, and one on the way.
Earla is also preceded in death by son, Stephen Ross; brother, Warren "Sandy" Sanders; stepson, Jon Loveless; a sister in infancy; and her cousins, Muriel and George Milne.
A common theme throughout Earla’s life was that she was most known for her selfless dedication to helping the less fortunate. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Earla also belonged to the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and was involved in their philanthropic efforts supporting St. Jude’s Hospital and other worthwhile charities. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as the American Legion Auxiliary Post 388 in O'Fallon, Missouri. Earla graduated from the University of Alaska and retired from the state of Missouri Division of Employment Security. She also served as a child advocate CASA representative in St. Charles County.
Earla was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
