Earl “Sonny” Fairley

Fairley, Earl "Sonny", of O'Fallon, Missouri, formerly of Royalton, Illinois, died on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the age of 84 after battling cancer. Loving husband of the late Nadine Fairley; beloved son of the late Thomas and Gertrude Fairley; father of Tonya (John) Calcaterra; adoring grandfather of Hope (Craig) Woodson and Witli Cobin; dear brother of Marie (Erv) Coppi and Delores Daugherty; loving uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Fairley (NEE: McCollum). Sonny proudly served his country during the Korean War as a soldier in the United States Army. After his time in the service, he worked as a conservation officer for the State of Illinois for 24 years. His last three years of life were spent living with his cherished granddaughter Hope.
