Dwight Clyde Oster, of Chesterfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Rebecca Oster; beloved son of the late Clyde and Ruth Oster; devoted father of Nathanael (Olivia) Oster and Abigail Paramore; cherished grandfather of Naomi (Chase) Blevins, Jacob Oster, Caleb Oster, Madeline Paramore, Bethany Oster, Amos Oster, and Eden Paramore; dear brother of Faith (Robert) Geders and Beth (Gary) Steffaniak; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dwight was married for 52 loving years to his wife, Becky. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and playful nature. Dwight had a deep love of books, particularly history and theology, and he loved the Lord with all his heart. He enjoyed watching The Andy Griffith Show, admiring classic and fast cars, and attending air shows, especially the Blue Angels. He was proud to have worked on the F-18 production line at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. Above all, Dwight cherished his family and grandchildren. Dwight was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Dwight's name to Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church.
