Dovie Mae Thoroughman

Dovie Mae Thoroughman (nee Manning), of Imperial, MO, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Robert Thoroughman; cherished daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary E. Manning; devoted mother of Vickie Thoroughman and the late Betty Thoroughman; loving grandmother of Ken (Heather) Gramm; treasured great-grandmother of Evan Gramm and Hanna Denson; dear sister of the late Preston (Beatie) Manning and the late Roy Manning.
Dovie was devoted to any and all animal especially her pet birds. She was involved in Animal Rescue and worked with Five Acres Animal Shelter. She was very dedicated to her work and always had a strong work ethic. Dovie was very caring and was always taking care of someone or something. Dovie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Dovie's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter or Evelyn's House.
