Douglas Alan Nadler, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Barbara Nadler; cherished son of the late Larry and Nancy Nadler; devoted father of Bailey Nadler and Tyler Nadler.Doug grew up in Weldon Springs where he attended Francis Howell High School. After graduation he went to work for Schuman and spent his free time playing softball, going on ski trips and hunting with his family and friends. He then went to work for Cuivre River Electric Cooperative where he had worked for the past 36 years.
Doug took great pride in his work and being a lineman was not just a job, but part of who he was. Over the years Cuivre became more than just coworkers but were family and he treasured getting to work alongside them, especially his uncle Rod and mentor Rick. Doug has been married to the love of his life, Barb, for nearly 31 wonderful years in which they enjoyed spending their time boating and camping with their two kids. Doug was extremely proud of both his children. He enjoyed golfing with Tyler and taking both Bailey and Tyler hunting. In Doug’s free time he liked to be outside whether that was making his yard the best on the street, washing his Ford or working on their property at Mark Twain Lake. He also never missed a NASCAR race and spent every Sunday watching on the TV or going with his friends or family.
Doug was fortunate enough to be able to spend his time with some of his closes friends, Steve, Terry and Rich playing cards and golfing. As a talented dartball player, Doug was recently inducted into the St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame, an achievement he was very proud of. Prior to his passing some of Doug’s happiest moments was spending his time with his family and beloved dogs, Jackson, Chrissy, and Duke. Doug greatly enjoyed making a connection with people, he never met a stranger, for which he was so dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Memorials may be made in Douglas's name to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and National Kidney Foundation .
