Douglas A. Schultz, of Florissant, Missouri, passed away Monday January 15, 2018, at the age of 54. Loving son of the late John and Nancy Schultz; devoted father of Jennifer Schultz; cherished brother of Deborah Underwood, Rebeckah (the late Tom) Hoover, and the late Tracey Warner; treasured uncle of Stephanie (Bob) Swearengin, Lauren (Ben Davidson) Underwood, and the late Keith Warner; great-uncle of Charlie, Sawyer, and Addisyn Swearengin; dearest step-son of Pam Carter Schultz; dear close friend of Pat Luter and Rick Quicke; and beloved nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
Doug was a master auto bodyman for more than 20 years with Florissant Auto Body. In his spare time he built a 1969 Chevelle SS racing car, which he raced at Gateway Speedway. He also restored a vintage truck for the Valley of the Flowers in Florissant, MO. He was an athletic outdoorsman who enjoyed bow and gun hunting, and he looked forward to traveling with family and friends to Canada for their annual fishing trip. During the summer, he could be found on the water in his Baja boat water skiing, tubing, and boating around the lake. He was an avid coin collector and a member of the Beer Can Collectors of America. Doug was also a true St. Louis Blues hockey fan and never missed a game. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
