Dorothy Walsh

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann Walsh (Muich) on April 23, 2023. She was our loving and devoted mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Wentzville, Missouri. She was in her 95th year. Dorothy was the mother of nine children. She always provided support and love for her family as well as always making time for everyone. She worked tirelessly, always being a role model for her children. Dorothy had a green thumb and would plant a garden every year providing a bounty of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. Her flower garden was a sight to see and each year new plants were added to enhance the beauty. Her other love was reading, she would read about 30 books per week until two years ago when her eyesight failed. Dorothy loved to visit new places and enjoyed traveling through the US. 

Dorothy was predeceased by her two sons, Patrick and Paul, and grandson Brian as well as her brother Albert Muich, and sisters Mary Toth and Katherine Drone. She is survived by her seven children, Laura Proemsey, Leo and Cyndi Walsh, Donald and Barbara Walsh, William and Jan Walsh, Patricia Crew, Catherine Sweeny, and Thomas Walsh; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
