Dorothy C. Poss

Dorothy C. Poss, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Larry Gene Poss; beloved daughter of the late Louis H. and Elizabeth Farmer; devoted mother of Paul (Kathy) Poss, Jean Easley, David (Grace) Poss, Timothy (Arlene) Poss, and Jennifer Mann; cherished grandmother of Jessica (James), and Paul Jr. (Gina), Philip, Benjamin (Sophie), Sam (Sarah), Stephen, Amy (Brandon), DJ (Hannah), Theo (Meagan), April (Greg), Emily and Jacob; treasured great-grandmother of Lilly (Joe), Lucas (Alayna), Lena, Lucy, Keira, Lexie, Alexandra, Luna, George, and Kennedy; dear sister of Mary (the late Fred) Belet; loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dorothy is also preceded in death by her son, Alexander Poss; siblings, Louis Farmer, Jr., Robert (Virginia) Farmer, Pauline (Larry) Marshall, and Richard (Peggy and Joan) Farmer.

Dorothy met her beloved husband, Larry, overseas while he was serving in the United States Marine Corps. Together, they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on February 14, 2026. A woman of faith, Dorothy routinely attended Catholic Mass every Sunday, often followed by a trip to the casino. She cherished time spent at family gatherings and remained very active throughout her life. Dorothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Dorothy's name to the American Heart Association.
