Dorothy Ann Kluesner

Dorothy (Kopp) Kluesner passed away on May 28, 2023. Dorothy was 87 years old. Born to Edward and Genevieve (Sandbothe Kandlbinder) Kopp in Washington, MO on October 5, 1935. Dorothy worked for Brown Shoe Company in Washington, MO before marrying Francis Kluesner in 1957. After moving to St. Peters, MO, Dorothy worked for the Ft. Zumwalt School District and retired with 25 years of service. Her last position was Head Cook at Rock Creek Elementary School. Dorothy was active in the American Legion Post 313 Auxiliary, the quilting group and the funeral luncheon committee at All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters, MO. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and always enjoyed cooking for them. Dorothy is proceeded in death by her husband, Francis Kluesner; brothers Arnold Kandlbinder, Paul Kopp, Eugene Kopp, and Glennon Kopp. Dorothy is survived by her children Michael (Karen) Kluesner, Dale (Ginger) Kluesner, James (Lisa) Kluesner, Sue (Charles) Seawright, and Steven (Rhonda Ballard) Kluesner, her brother Roland (Fran) Kopp, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Grace Convent in St. Louis, MO, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Shriners Hospital. 

A Memorial Mass has been planned at All Saints Catholic Church on Saturday, July 15, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM.
