Doris L. Corley

Doris Lorraine Corley (nee Doris Lorraine Fitzsimmons), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Donald Eugene Corley; cherished daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillie Fitzsimmons. Devoted mother of the late Dennis Lee (Cherie Jo) Corley and Donald Richard (Claudia Meyer) Corley; loving grandmother of Stacy (Shawn) Shults, Tifani (Derek) Herbert, Christopher (Eliza) Corley, and Donald Corley; treasured great-grandma to Shelby (Connor White) Shults; Shawna (Gabe) Mann, Erica Shults, Jacob Herbert, Brenan Shults, Bryson Corley, and Bella Corley; great-great grandma of Aubree Mann, Sophia White, and Baby Elayne Mann.

Doris was a member of the Smucker’s 100th Birthday Club, her and her friends started the El Stinko Girls’ Club. She loved to travel and being outside gardening. She also enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies and learning about her family’s genealogy. Doris was also very active and loved line dancing, softball, and bowling. Doris was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Village Center Care Community and ProMedica Heartland Hospice for providing great care and also for their amazing staff.

They would also like to thank Christine Blair and Kim Williams for their amazing patience, love, and care.
