Doris Gayle Czeschin

Doris Gayle Czeschin (née Creacy) of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026, at the age of 89.

She was the devoted wife of the late Clarence “Ray” Czeschin; cherished daughter of the late Fred and Gayle Creacy; mother of Alex (Stephanie) Czeschin and the late Kelley Czeschin; grandmother of August (Buket) and Wil (Mary) Czeschin; and sister of Ruth Ann Krieger, the late Fred Creacy, the late Jean McCoy, and the late Helen LaBanca. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Doris retired after many years of service at McDonnell Aircraft and then served over 20 years as a volunteer at FISH of St Charles. A longtime member of First St. Charles United Methodist Church, she enjoyed playing cards and Rummikub with her friends and family. She found great joy in travel, visiting all 50 states and taking trips abroad with Ray. Above all, her family, especially her grandchildren, remained the center of her life.

Her warmth, kindness, and the many happy memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
