Donald Whitcomb

Whitcomb, Donald, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the age of 90. Dearest husband of the late Ruth Mary Whitcomb NEE: Herbert; dear son of the late Harry and Grace (Coy) Whitcomb; devoted father of Faith Victoria (the late Charles) Lucas and Catherine Mary Whitcomb; beloved grandfather of Amy (Dave) Young, Joshua (Jennifer) Dixon, Justin (Ashley) Dixon, and Andrew Dixon (Kristen Sheahan) and great-grandfather of Nicholas, Gillian, Leah, Harper, Caleb and Miles; dear brother of Marian Hoyt. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Dimond, Frances "Edith" Frost and 2 infant sons. Donald graduated from A.B. Davis High School in Mt. Vernon, NY, proudly served in the Canadian Army during WWII, and was employed as an Accountant. He was a lifelong member of the Anglican Church and served many years as Treasurer of the Church of St. John the Divine in Mt. Vernon, NY. Private Funeral Service.
