Don was an extremely hard worker. He truly enjoyed going to work every day as a Systems Specialist for the Francis Howell School District. He loved using his skills, creativity, and ingenuity to complete his tasks and help out where and whenever needed. He really loved his work and the people he had the pleasure of doing it with.
Don was a dedicated family man. He never missed a sporting event, performance, or awards ceremony that his children and grandchildren participated in. Dogs were also a huge part of his life and family. He provided excellent care and companionship to several dogs over the years.
Don's hobbies included: spending time with his family, playing fetch with the dogs, watching drag racing, gardening, and playing catch with his grandson. He also liked clocks, kaleidoscopes, stained glass, pocket knives, and coal oil lamps. As a boy he spent his free time playing baseball with his neighborhood buddies. He was dearly loved and depended on. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be placed to SSM Hospice or Five Acres Animal Shelter/Shadow's Fund.
