Donald “Don” Henry Schweppe, age 86, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. He was born on June 28th, 1939, to the late Joseph and Mary (Neckermann) Schweppe.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara Jo “CJ” Schweppe, who passed away on February 11, 2026, with whom he shared 43 wonderful years of marriage.
He will be remembered as a man who found great joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. Don had a passion for coaching and supporting his children in their sports, where his encouragement and humor left a lasting impression on them. Whether fishing, golfing, traveling to new places, or spending winters in Arizona, he embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity.
Those who knew Don will always remember his quick wit, warm humor, and generous spirit. He had a natural way of making others feel welcome and valued, and nothing brought him greater happiness than time spent surrounded by his family.
Don is lovingly survived by his children: Don (Diane) Schweppe, Shari (Ron) Streiler, Pat Crocker and her partner, Stan, and Cindy (Mike) Heermann. He was a proud grandfather to Nicholas Schweppe; Jared (Sunni) Streiler; DJ (Claire) Schweppe; Hayden (Megan) Crocker; Lindsey (Kevin) Aydelott; Taylor (Seth) Rodgers; Wyatt (Shelby) Revelle; Jessica (Jeremy) Brinkmann; and Alec Revelle and his fiance, Stephanie.
He also leaves behind his treasured great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Mikayla, Makynlee, Brayden, Gwyneth, Owen, Nora, Carter, Harrison, Jackson, Ava, Quinlee, and Oliver, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Don is preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph (Frances) Schweppe, Laverne (Fran) Meives and Jim (Joann) Schweppe.
Don’s life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and the importance of family. His laughter will be deeply missed, but the love he shared will live on in all who knew him.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
