Donald F. Potts, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Betty Virginia Potts; beloved son of the late John Charles and Marie Antoinette (Mallioux) Potts; devoted father of Mike (Laura) Potts and Mark (Tawnya) Potts; cherished Gramps of Brian (Jen) Potts, Christopher (Julie) Potts, Justin Potts, and Charley Potts; treasured great grandpa of Riley and Reagan Potts. Don is also preceded in death by his siblings, John Charles "J.C.", Eugene, Kenneth, Maxine "Mac", Kathleen, Mary, and Cheryl.
Don proudly served his country for 8 years in the United States Air Force. He worked for 40 years as a truck driver, as well as 7 years as a custodian at Francis Howell School district. His amazing work as a custodian awarded him a place in the Francis Howell Hall of Fame. Don was also in the St. Charles County Sports Hall of Fame for bowling. Don was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Don loved his family most of all. He truly enjoyed their family vacations to Florida, as well as hunting and fishing with the boys of the family. In his free time, he loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals. Don also was an avid bowler and golfer. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to American Heart Association or Donor's choice.
