Donald Gene Owens

Donald Gene Owens of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed on February 24, 2025, at the age of 83.

He is survived by his sons, Eric and Garth, as well as his stepson John, his grandchildren Rhiannon, Aaron, Crisana, Tristan, Hayley, Mallory, Jake, Nick, Brittany, Ryan, his great grandchild Amiah and his sister Zilla Mae Brown.

Don was a lifelong Free Mason as part of his commitment to peace through brotherhood and charity, and would have received his 60-year pin in august of this year.

Don retired from both the U.S. Navy and GTE telephone company.

He was kindhearted and would help any who asked. He loved his workshop and working with anything that had an engine, and teaching others how to do the same.
