Donald “Donnie” Clawson

Donald "Donnie" Clawson of O'Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 76 on Friday, March 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vahl and Oweda Clawson.

Donnie is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Ann Clawson; his children, Ryan (Crystal) Clawson, Brent (Shawnessie) Clawson, and Darren (Tawnia) Clawson; his grandchildren, Logan and Ben Clawson; and his siblings, Luzenia Arthaud, Neva (Robert) Wombell, Robert (Pat) Clawson, Gerry Clawson, Dickie (Trudy) Clawson, and Ronald (Judy) Clawson.

Donnie enjoyed a successful career over many years at Schwan’s Company where he worked with their Tony’s and Red Baron Pizza brands. Sports were a major part of Donnie’s life and he carried his love for athletics all the way from his high school days where he was a champion pole vaulter. He was a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Billikens, and Mizzou teams. Donnie loved the opportunity to coach his kids when they played on the Red Baron baseball team and he treasured the memories they all made together through their shared love of sports. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Donnie’s name may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
