Donald "Don" Winford Dearing

Donald “Don” Winford Dearing, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Evelyn Virginia Dearing; cherished son of the late Winford and Gladys Dearing; devoted father of Terry Dearing, and Sherrie (Scott) Berry; loving grandfather of Chad (Angie) Dearing, Greg Dearing, and Sydney (Noah Duckworth) Berry; dear brother of the late Walter Dearing, Kay (Donny) Varner, the late Kathie Dearing, and Grover (Terri) Dearing.

Don retired from Hussmann Refrigeration after 46 years of dedicated service in research, development, and commercial refrigeration manufacturing. He was known for his ability to fix anything and for leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Don was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Mizzou Tigers. He also loved his bird, Yadi. Don always enjoyed his favorite food Kentucky Fried Chicken and it was something he never tired of over the years. Above all, he was devoted to his family and shared 68 loving years of marriage with his beautiful wife, Evelyn. Don was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
