Don Gerald Blanke

Donald Gerald Blanke, of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 83. Cherished son of the late Amos and Irene Blanke and brother of the late Peggy Denham. Don is survived by two loving children, Chris (Tim) Galarza and Jeff (Laurie) Blanke; his grandchildren Caroline Blanke and Chad Blanke, and the mother of his children, Judie Blanke. He was a loving uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many.

Don was a proud member of Labors Union Local 42. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing, and everything outdoors. He enjoyed bowling and was a true Cardinals fan, Mizzou enthusiast, and enjoyed watching Nascar. He loved Country music, collecting his 300+ Budweiser steins and supported the NRA. His greatest treasure was his family.

Don was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to Lone Elk Park, Columbia Bottom Conservation Area or St. Louis Zoo Wild Care Park.
