Don C. Bufford

Don C. Bufford, Sr., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the age of 67. Dear son of the late George C. Bufford and Floyce L. Anderson; devoted father of Don C. (Kim) Bufford, Jr. and Teresa Ann (Travis) Lockwood; cherished grandfather of Justin Woolverton, James Woolverton, Tim Bufford, Jesse Bufford, Kody Bufford, and Michael Bufford; beloved great-grandfather of Mackenzie and Tristan Bufford; and dear brother of Richard Bufford. Don started his career in law enforcement in 1969 with the St. Charles City Police Department. After 10 years, he came to the Sheriff's Department where he served in various aspects of law enforcement; patrol, prisoner transport, administrative research, evidence management, crime scene investigation and had attained the rank of Sergeant while serving in the Patrol Division. Prior to his law enforcement career, Son served 4 years in the Navy and 2 years in the Navy reserve. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
