Johns, Dixie L. (NEE: Gates), of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the age of 81. Loving wife of the late Carol M. Johns; beloved daughter of the late Curtis and Irene Gates; devoted mother of Paul (Kathy) Johns and Curt (Gail) Johns; cherished grandmother of Kimberly (John) Schnurbusch and Sarah Johns; treasured great-grandmother of Mia. She is preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Johns. Memorials may be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
