Dennis Jamison Greenwood, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 45 years to Kim Greenwood; cherished son of the late Charles and Mary Greenwood; devoted father of Scott and Allison Greenwood, Matt and Laura Greenwood and Beth and Sean Twiehaus; proud and loving grandfather of Tyler, Braden, Liam, Zoe, Lynn, Violet and two angel grandbabies; dear brother of Michael and Carol Greenwood and Carol Ann Greenwood; brother-in-law of Lisa and John Thompson; Dennis was a dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and bestfriend of Mike and Linda, Nancy, Sue and Kim and many others.
Denny proudly and honorably served in the United States Army Reserve. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America, Order of the Arrow, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and United Auto Workers. Denny was a programmer analyst at A. G. Edwards and Sons and worked at General Motors for many years. In his free time, Denny owned a small business with Kim, Rings with Meaning. He did wood working, was an excellent golfer, and loved playing Pinochle and Poker games with family and friends. He was a supportive father and grandfather and cherished the memories he had spending time outdoors and camping with his family.
Denny loved Pokémon GO. He spent time with his family and friends wanting to “Go Catch ‘em all”, looking for new Pokestops, and creating friendships in the community along the way. He was a member of Team Mystic and was a friend to all trainers. Denny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Denny's name to Boy Scouts of America, Philmont Scout Ranch Wild Fire Recovery.
