Dennis Gillespie

Dennis Robert Gillespie, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 53. Cherished son of Ramona Estelle and the late James Morris Gillespie; devoted father of Dylan Gillespie, Tye Gillespie, and Shayne Shore; beloved fiancé of Caitlin Boyd; dear brother of Daryll (Michelle) Gillespie; loving uncle of Grant and Nora Gillespie.

Dennis had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys and lasting passions. He especially loved movies, with a particular fondness for Clint Eastwood classics and the bold storytelling of Quentin Tarantino, and he could often be found enjoying stand-up comedy and comedy shows that brought him plenty of laughs. An avid fan of ’80s rock, Dennis also had a lifelong appreciation for trucks and classic cars and enjoyed playing volleyball. Above all else, he was a devoted and active father who cherished his boys and took great pride in being part of their lives. Dennis was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
