Dennis “Capt” “Denny” Wacker of Sunrise Beach, MO, passed Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Eileen E. Wacker; cherished son of the late William G. and Elvera L. Wacker; devoted father of Jacquelyn Wacker and her twin brother the late baby boy Wacker, Joey (Dan) Taylor, and Jason (Theresa) Wacker; loving grandfather of Sydnni Ahlheim, Gabrielle Galkowski, Daniel Taylor Jr., Jonathan William Taylor, Gianna Wacker, Emme Wacker, Luke Wacker, and Anna Wacker; treasured great-grandfather of Luigi Caldwell and Augustus Flynn; dear brother of Darrell (Jane) Wacker, Julie Hackett, and Timothy (Susan) Wacker; caring step-father of Kim (Steve) Collison, Rick (Marilyn) Bockhoff, James (Amber) Bockhoff, and Ralph (Angie) Krech; gentle grandfather of Jefferey, Jason and Jeremy Nowack, Tony Collison, Vinny and Johnny Bockhoff, Landon and Emma Bockhoff, Tyler, Samantha, Katie and Jacob Krech, Dylan, Shawn, and Derrick Bockhoff; and many extended grandchildren, family and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by three brothers, David Wacker, Bill (Laura) Wacker, Kevin (Mary) Wacker; and stepson, Vince (Angie) Bockhoff.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid and life-long golfer. He loved funk music and dancing and also enjoyed playing bass at church. Dennis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
